| Notes | This drive is Qualified for Retrospect use in MacOS 9.xx and Mac OS X. The drive has an issue in Mac OS X, where Retrospect written CD-R/RW media will mount on the desktop of your OS X system and prevent Retrospect from regaining access to the media. It is recommended that all media is ejected before Retrospect is Quit, and that you only insert media into your drive if the Retrospect application is Open. If you find yourself in a situation where the media is showing up as "locked" or "Content Unrecognized" simply eject the media from the "Configure-Devices" Window in Retrospect and re-insert it. You will be able to append. If you are doing Automated backups, Retrospect must be left Open prior to the scheduled backup time. | - |
