The Retrospect Management Console is the best way to see your entire backup environment in a single pane of glass. It consolidates information from every source, backup set, activity on every engine into a single view. Even with a single engine, the Retrospect Management Console enables you to keep tabs on your data protection strategy on your desktop or your mobile while you’re away from the office.
However, if your environment is more than one or two engines, the data can be overwhelming. When we launched the Retrospect Management Console in September, there was no way to search or drill down on a single organization or engine. So we’re excited to announce both search and drilldown are now available!
Under the "Backup Servers" data hook, you’ll see that the organizations and engines are blue links. You can click on any organization under your account or any engine to drill down to that level, enabling you to see exactly what the state of an individual site or engine is. To zoom back out, click "Dashboard".
Above the "ProactiveAI" data hook, you’ll see a new search box. You can search for any name, either organization, engine, or backup set, and the Retrospect Management Console will only show you the matching items.
