Retrospect 7 has a feature to defer all waiting executions by clicking on the red X at the top of the Retrospect directory. If this is pushed in, Retrospect will not run any waiting or scheduled executions. If you have a script that has failed to launch in Retrospect 7, make sure to uncheck this option. You can verify that it is set correctly by checking the bottom left corner of the screen.
When the Executions are deferred the Retrospect icon in the system tray of your Windows taskbar will flash (pictured below) until you click the Stop all execution activity button in the Retrospect toolbar. As long as the icon is flashing, Retrospect will not execute any immediate or scripted operations. A new "continue" button has also been added to the script countdown dialog box that appears during launch.
