Open Terminal and run the following command: sudo nvram atto-args-tlfc8="-i 0x800000" 2. Reboot machine. 3. Open Terminal and run the following command to make sure it was set correctly: nvram -p | grep atto You should see the following output: atto-args-tlfc8 -i 0x800000 ------------------------------------ STEP 2: ------------------------------------ 1. In the Retrospect System Preferences pane, stop the Retrospect Engine. 2. Locate the retro.ini file at /Library/Application Support/Retrospect/retro.ini 3. Open the retro.ini file with a text editor, such as TextEdit. 4. Add the following lines to the end of the existing text: [DEVICES] DevUseMaxQuantumKB=256 5. Save the edited retro.ini file. 6. Start the Retrospect Engine in System Preferences pane. |
