  1. Log into the Retrospect Virtual Console (the web interface found at 127.0.0.1 by default).

  2. Select Users, Groups & Policies.

  3. Select Policy Group at the top.

  4. Here are the policy groups you have created – if you never created one, there will be a default policy group. Select the policy group you wish to edit.

  5. Select User Settings on the left.

  6. Scroll down to the Passwords section – here is where you can increase or decrease the password expiration age and modify complexity of the passwords. Once done, select the green save icon at the bottom right.
