Notes | It is recommended that users experiencing frequent hangs with VXA drives update drive firmware to V11100 or later for VXA-1 drives or V12101 or later for VXA-2 drives. These firmware releases contain drive updates which may solve hang issues. Users with Retrospect 6.0 for Macintosh should use Retrospect Driver Update 5.2.101 or later. This update contains a fix which prevents hangs due to improper data transfer size. For information on updating drives, contact Exabyte (www.exabyte.com/support). ------------------------------------------------------------------ Currently, Retrospect cannot detect VXA cleaning cartridges during the VXA cleaning process. As a result, automated cleaning functions may not work properly. Dantz and Exabyte are working on a solution which may be available in a future software or firmware update. Please check back in the future for further details. |
