Data protection is central to Retrospect, as a product and as a company. Below are our policies on how we store and protect your data.

Data Privacy

When you give us any personal information (for example, your e-mail address), we will not pass this information to any entity outside our staff and partner network. Our partner network is certified for their knowledge of Retrospect Backup, and we pass information to them to better help businesses protect their digital assets.

Data Retention

We retain your information to better serve you as a customer, including purchase information, product registration, and support ticket history. For EU citizens, we are required by law to retain your data with backups, so that you can request a copy of it.

Data Erasure

With GDPR, EU citizens are entitled to have their data removed from our systems, known as the "Right to be Forgotten". If you are not an EU citizen and would still like your data removed, please contact us.

Communication Settings

We send our periodic emails to our customers to keep them up-to-date on the latest developments at Retrospect, and our sales staff also sends periodic emails to specific customers letting them know about upcoming events and opportunities.
