- Note: In order to use the graphical user interface (GUI) to change options and preferences, Java version 1.2 or later is also required.
Storage Devices
Retrospect supports a wide variety of storage devices as the destination for backups, including hard drives (both direct- and network-attached), tape drives and libraries (connected via FireWire, SCSI, iSCSI, Fibre Channel), and removable disk drives. Visit the Retrospect Device Support Information to verify that Retrospect supports your backup destination device.
