In order for the device to be properly recognized in Windows Me, users may require the "Windows ME Universal Plug and Play Update" available via Windows Update. Although the drive works through USB 1.1, it is suggested that users attach the drive through USB 2.0 or IEEE1394 (FireWire) due to performance increases. |
