Notes | An issue has been discovered where specific tape libraries will sometimes report a hardware failure when Retrospect commands them to move a tape from a drive to a storage slot. This issue may affect any drive configuration although it has currently been reported only with AIT-3 (Sony SDX-700C) configurations: Cybernetics CY-TL8-2015 Cybernetics CY-TL8-2030 Sony LIB-152 Sony LIB-152E Sony LIB-302 Spectra Logic Spectra 2K (Treefrog, 2000) This hardware issue affects both the Macintosh and Windows versions of Retrospect. Spectra Logic has released a firmware update which resolves this problem.
