Notes | - | The Toshiba SD-R1202 ships with numerous versions of firmware. It is possible that not all versions are compatible with Retrospect Backup software. Dantz testing has specifically verified that firmware 1020 and 1023 work. This drive does not properly recover when a disc has a damaged track. If a disc becomes damaged due to something like power loss during backup, Retrospect may display "media failure" for the disc. In many cases, the damaged disc can be repaired using a different Retrospect supported CD-RW drive. An example of a drive that successfully repairs discs is the Yamaha CRW2200. |
