Code42 no longer supports Windows Server for Code42 Enterprise. (See announcement.) While you may be able to continue to run their client on Windows Server, it is not tested or supported by them. Code42 will no longer support Mac OS X 10.9 and OS X 10.10 systems for backup. (See announcement.) Customers are required to upgrade to macOS 10.11 or higher to continue to use CrashPlan. CrashPlan for Small Business costs $120 per device per year, and Code42 Enterprise costs $60 per user per year, excluding cloud storage. Over three years for 100 devices, CrashPlan for Small Business would cost $36,000. Retrospect Multi-Server protects as many devices as the server and storage can handle–all for $6,000 with a perpetual license and two years of annual support and maintenance.
