If you are attempting to back up a virtual machine and are met with the error “Quota (Virtual Machine) exceeded!” then you need to modify the amount of virtual machines that the backup user can back up by doing the following:
Launch the Retrospect Virtual Management Console.
Go to "Users, Groups & Policies".
Click on the user that is getting the error.
On the top of the browser, click "Backup Client Settings".
Under "Add-on Modules", find the hypervisor that you are using and increase the number next to Guest VM box.
Hit the green save icon at the bottom right of the browser and attempt the backup once again in the Retrospect Virtual Host Server.
